Lauren has conducted media monitoring for clients such as Lysol. She also has created confidential industry profiles that address, among other features, market size, demographics and potential competition. She has provided primary and secondary research to a variety of corporate and individual clients, including Boardroom Advisors, Weinrich Advertising, The Guild Group, SMR International and Public Policy Research.
She has authored/assisted a variety of published works, including providing assistance to Guy St. Clair on Beyond Degrees: Professional Learning for Knowledge Services (London: K.G. Saur, 2003).
Lauren holds a BA in English from Vassar College, a PhD in English from City University of New York, and an MLIS (Library and Information Science), from Pratt Institute. She also completed post-graduate coursework in Competitive Intelligence.
